📝 Day 96 — The First Report

Today we finalized the first official report.

Not conclusions. Not outcomes. Just documentation.

Santa requested it be “clear and factual.”

I did my best.

📁 What the Report Includes

The cover page reads:

HOLIDAY ALLIANCE — STATUS REPORT (PRELIMINARY)

It lists the following:

• Names
• Represented holidays
• Probationary status
• Observed strengths
• Noted risks

There is no section for trust.

I checked twice.

🖋️ How the Names Appear

Officially, the group is listed as the Holiday Alliance.

That name appears in the header, footer, and every stamped page number.

In the margins—handwritten, circled, and underlined—appears something else.

The Unlikelies.

No one crossed it out.

No one approved it either.

It simply stayed.

🎃 Jack Marrow’s Entry

Jack Marrow’s page is brief.

His role is listed as:

“Participating Entity — Evaluation Deferred”

There are no metrics.

There is one note:

“Presence alone alters conditions.”

Santa initialed that line himself.

I did not ask why.

🐰 The Easter Bunny Reads Carefully

The Easter Bunny read his page three times.

Each time slower than the last.

He asked if “probationary” meant temporary.

Cupid said,

“It means conditional.”

That did not help.

The Bunny adjusted his vest and nodded anyway.

🤦‍♂️ Stupid Notices the Picture

At the back of the report is a single page.

No text. No seal.

Just an image.

A group photo concept. Everyone standing close enough to imply cooperation.

Stupid pointed at it and said,

“Oh. So this is what we’re supposed to look like.”

Yes.

Exactly.

The report has been filed.

It confirms what we already knew:

On paper, the Holiday Alliance exists.

In practice, the Unlikelies are still deciding what they are willing to be.

Tomorrow, someone will ask whether this report is meant to inform…

…or to reassure.
