Every Business Has a Story Worth Hearing
Last night we hosted another Behind the X's & O's livestream.
Our guests were members of the Not Included Car Club.
Before we ever went live, I found myself looking at the backdrop we'd printed for the show.
Across the top were the words...
"Every Business Has a Story Worth Hearing."
The more I looked at those words, the more I realized they weren't just describing the show.
They were describing what I believe.
Every business has a beginning.
Every owner has taken a risk.
Every entrepreneur has questioned whether they were going to make it.
Every family business has made sacrifices that most people will never see.
That's the part I'm interested in.
Not just...
What do you sell?
But why did you start?
What almost made you quit?
Who believed in you when no one else did?
What lessons did you learn the hard way?
Who helped you become who you are today?
That's the story behind the business.
That's the story I want people to hear.
Over the last few weeks, I've been writing about relationships.
Community.
Listening.
Making people feel seen.
The more I think about it, the more I realize none of those topics happened by accident.
They've been preparing us for exactly what this platform is becoming.
This month we'll be welcoming guests every Wednesday.
Our goal moving forward is to host at least two guests every month.
Not because we need more content.
Because I genuinely believe our community becomes stronger every time someone is willing to share their story.
Some of our guests will own businesses.
Some will lead organizations.
Some will build incredible cars.
Some will quietly serve our community in ways most people never notice.
Every one of them has something we can learn from.
The greatest lessons in business usually don't come from textbooks.
They come from conversations.
The longer we build this business, the more I realize we're not just printing banners anymore.
Sometimes we're printing reminders of why we do what we do.
That banner wasn't just part of the set.
It was a statement about the kind of community we hope to build.
Because every business has a story worth hearing.
And every story has the potential to encourage someone who's still writing their own.

What Healthy Actually Looks Like
Healthy communities are built one conversation at a time. When people are given the opportunity to share their experiences, struggles, victories, and lessons, we all grow together. Every story has the power to encourage someone who's walking a similar path.
Because behind every logo is a person. Behind every business is a family. And behind every business is a story worth hearing.
