⭐ Day 88 — Santa Begins the Briefing
Today Santa finally called an official meeting to explain all the mysterious activity around the Restricted Wing. It’s bigger than we thought. And by “we,” I mean everyone except Santa, who apparently planned this before half of us were born.
Finn brought snacks. Sparkles brought her notebook. I brought questions Santa didn’t want me to ask.
🎅 The Meeting Begins
Santa stood at the front of the War Room (which is just the normal meeting room with dramatic lighting). Behind him: a massive map covered in sparkling runes, glowing pathways, and symbols from holidays that are definitely not Christmas.
He started with: “The world is changing, and Christmas must change with it.”
Finn nodded thoughtfully. Sparkles gasped. I wrote it down because it sounded quotable.
🌍 Santa Reveals the Truth
Santa explained that Christmas magic—joy, generosity, wonder—has grown so powerful that it now spills into other seasons.
But the other holidays? They’ve been struggling.
Valentine’s Day is overwhelmed. Easter is understaffed. Halloween… well, Halloween is always dramatic but even more dramatic lately.
Santa continued:
“Magic cannot thrive in isolation. It must be shared. Strengthened. Connected.”
Sparkles looked like she was witnessing history. Finn looked like he was trying to understand history. I looked like I already knew what was coming (I did not).
🎉 The Holiday Alliance
Santa finally said the words:
“The Holiday Alliance has been formed.”
The room broke into whispers.
An alliance?! With who?! For what purpose?! Why were there bunny prints in the Restricted Wing?!
Santa lifted his hands for silence and clarified:
“Representatives from Valentine’s Day, Easter, and Halloween have visited the North Pole this week. We are building a shared magical network to support all seasons.”
Sparkles nearly fell off her chair. Finn choked on a cookie. I performed a silent victory dance.
🧝♀️ And What Does This Mean for Us?
According to Santa:
• Christmas will become the central hub of all holiday magic.
• Sparkles and Finn will play major roles in leadership.
• A new liaison will soon join the team.
A liaison? From which holiday? With what qualifications? Do they know what they’re walking into?!
I asked Santa for details. He said, “You’ll meet them soon.”
He refuses to elaborate. But I will.
Tomorrow, the first representative from another holiday arrives for an evaluation of the North Pole’s “emotional infrastructure.” (I don’t know what that means, but it sounds dramatic.)
And I’ve been told this representative has wings. And opinions. Lots of opinions. ⭐✨
