Today I'm sippin from a new "Left Handed" coffee mug from our friend Juan Manuel Perez Jr. Mugs came out great brother, Thank you.
My thought for the day is "Focus on the things that make you smile". This one should resonate with anyone that is carrying a lot of weight but I'm delivering it from the perspective of a Owner/operator of a business.
Business owners experience life just like everyone else does and the weight of life added to the weight of business gets heavy especially if you're an owner/operator because you can't hand that weight off to anyone else. You the owner has to carry the weight.
You can't really talk to family about business and can't talk to clients about family. Its a weird place to be.
This makes it to where you can't fully give yourself to any given thing. You can't grieve as much as you want or offer proper condolences to anyone. You can't fully enjoy a life changing moment as much. You sort of become numb to it all.
Today and everyday we have to choose to smile and even if its just for a moment we have to be fully present where we stand. There will always be plenty to cry about and plenty to smile about but today, right now, I'm gonna smile.
