Every morning starts the same way — with a quiet prayer before the chaos begins. I thank God for another day, for my wife, for our kids, for the business we’re building, and for the chance to do it all again.
But this morning hit a little different. I started thinking about the things we sow — the work we put in every day that nobody sees, the habits, the effort, the faith it takes to keep showing up when the results aren’t instant.
🎥 From Watching Others to Recording Our Own Journey
Lately, I’ve been watching a lot of podcasts and noticing something — these creators don’t just share polished moments. They document everything: the brainstorming, the meetings, the real behind-the-scenes stuff.
And I thought, man… we could be doing that too.
We already live this life — long days, client meetings, installs, creative sessions — all the things that make Red Alpha what it is. Why not record it? Why not show the process, the growth, the small victories that add up to something big?
So that’s where this idea came from — to start recording pieces of our daily grind. And now, here we are, day 35 into this journey.
🙏 The Word That Hit Me: “Sow the Seed”
While I was praying this morning, that word came to me — “seed.”
In the Bible, the parable of the sower shows up in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. It talks about how the sower spreads the seed, and how some of it lands on rocky ground, some among thorns, and some on good soil.
That story never really gets old, because it’s life and business all rolled into one.
Not every idea grows. Not every plan takes root. But the act of sowing — that’s what matters. You don’t stop planting just because last season was dry. You keep sowing. You keep watering. You trust that eventually, something will break through.
💡 Business, Faith, and Consistency
This whole process — the recording, the writing, the early mornings — it’s become a kind of discipline.
Every blog post, every video, every design we create is a seed. Some will sprout quickly; others might take years before they bear fruit. But we keep planting because that’s how growth happens — in business, in family, and in faith.
The sower doesn’t get discouraged when the first few seeds don’t take. He knows that somewhere out there, there’s good soil waiting.
🧠 Behind the X’s & O’s Takeaway
You don’t have to see the full harvest to know your seeds have value. The key is to keep planting — ideas, effort, love, gratitude — even when it feels small.
Because the truth is, consistency is faith in action.
And faith is what turns a small seed into a forest.
